On Saturday (April 20, 2204), Cebu Pacific announced the delivery of their fourth new aircraft for 2024, an Airbus A320neo.  The aircraft touched down at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Wednesday, April 17th.  Cebu Pacific currently operates one of the youngest fleets in the world, including eight Airbus A330s, 34 Airbus A320s, 21 Airbus A321s and 14 ATR turboprop aircraft. The carrier offers the widest domestic network coverage in the Philippines.

In Saturday’s announcement, Cebu Pacific’s Chief Strategy Officer, Alex Reyes, said,

“This aircraft delivery supports our goal of providing safe, reliable, and affordable flights as the demand for air travel remains strong.  We also continue to incorporate sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in our operations as part of our decarbonization efforts, which can pave the way for a more sustainable air travel in the coming years.”

By 2028, Cebu Pacific plans on transitioning their entire fleet to Airbus A320neo and A330neo Family aircraft.  The latest generation neo aircraft offer a 15 percent reduction in fuel burn and emissions compared to the aircraft they replace.  Cebu Pacific currently offers service to 35 domestic and 24 international destinations across Asia, Australasia, and the Middle East.
