Cebu Pacific to Launch New Service Between Manila and Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport

Cebu Pacific is expanding their service to Thailand with new direct service between Manila and Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport.  The route will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays starting July 16, 2024.

On Thursday (May 9, 2024), Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced an expansion of service to Thailand with the launch of new direct service between Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila and Bangkok’s Don Mueang Int’l Airport (DMK).  The route will operate thrice weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays starting July 16, 2024.  With the new service to DMK, Cebu Pacific will offer 17 weekly flights between manila and Bangkok.  Currently, the carrier offers double daily service between Manila and Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. 


In Thursday’s announcement, Cebu Pacific’s President and Chief Commercial Officer, Xander Lao, said,


“Bangkok remains one of the most popular destinations in Southeast Asia, with its majestic pagodas, flavorful cuisine, and vibrant cultural festivals.  We are excited to bring more travelers to this beautiful city as we launch our operations in DMK, in our commitment to continuously provide accessible and affordable air travel to every Juan.”


Cebu Pacific originally launched service between Manila and Bangkok in 2006, and now also offers daily service between Clark and Bangkok.  Currently, the carrier offers service to 35 domestic and 24 international destinations across Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
