Cathay Pacific to Resume Service to Seattle

Cathay Pacific has today announced the restart of service to Seattle, Washington. Beginning March 30, 2026, the route will operate five times weekly. The carrier is also increasing frequencies to Dallas-Fort Worth to daily.

On Monday (September 22, 2025), Cathay Pacific announced that they will resume service to between Hong Kong and Seattle, Washington (SEA) in the U.S. Starting March 30, 2026, the route will operate five times weekly. In April 2025, the carrier also debuted service to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), and based on demand, will increase frequencies on the route from four weekly flights to daily service starting October 26, 2025.
In Monday’s announcement, Cathay’s Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, Lavinia Lau, said,
“We are excited to resume direct passenger flights to Seattle, reinforcing our goal to deepen business and cultural ties between Hong Kong and a dynamic tech hub in the United States. This route not only provides greater convenience for our customers, but also supports the growing demand for connectivity between Asia and North America, particularly among travellers from the Chinese Mainland and India.
“Customers can immerse themselves in Seattle’s thriving tech scene, lush greenery and rich cultural offerings, while those travelling to Hong Kong and through our home hub can connect to more than 100 destinations around the world through the Cathay Group’s network.”

Cathay Pacific’s service between Hong Kong and Seattle will be operated with an Airbus A350-900 featuring fully lie-flat beds in Business Class, spacious seats in Premium Economy and comfortable in Economy Class seats.
