Cathay Pacific’s Entire Fleet Will be Outfitted with Seatback IFE and Wi-Fi Connectivity From August 2025

Cathay Pacific has today announced that their entire fleet will be equipped with seatback inflight entertainment (IFE) screens and high-speed inflight Wi-Fi connectivity from August 2025. 

On Wednesday (April 9, 2025), Cathay Pacific announced that their entire fleet of aircraft will be fully outfitted with seatback inflight entertainment (IFE), as well as high speed Wi-Fi connectivity from August 2025.  Since introducing seatback IFE in 1992, Cathay Pacific has consistently invested in inflight digital innovations to elevate the guest experience.  This year, the carrier introduced 4K HDR offering 4K ultra-high-definition screens and a broader color range.

In Wednesday’s announcement, Cathay Pacific’s General Manager – Guillaume Vivet, said,
