On Friday (April 12, 2024), Cathay Pacific announced that their nearly six decade old Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Ltd. business has now been rebranded as ‘Cathay Dining’, exemplifying the carrier’s commitment to delivering unparalleled service to their guests. The airline’s catering business continues to expand their expertise, and Cathay Dining reaffirms the company’s dedication to curating exceptional experiences with high-quality catering solutions for Cathay Pacific and other airlines. The branding change aligns with Cathay’s overarching premium lifestyle proposition as a Group.
Introducing the new brand, Cathay’s Chief Operations and Service Delivery Officer, and Cathay Dining’s Chair, Alex McGowan, said,

In addition to providing onboard dining solutions to Cathay Pacific and other airlines to and from Hong Kong, Cathay Dining also provides catering services to businesses outside of the aviation industry. Operating the principal aviation catering business in Hong Kong, Cathay Dining produced over 19 million meals in last year. The Cathay Dining rebrand follows the Group’s global rebrand to Cathay, which was announced in September 2023.
