British Airways guests will experience love in the air this Valentine’s Day with special desserts, heart shaped chocolates and hours of rom-coms on the carrier’s ‘Love is in the air’ inflight entertainment category.

British Airways' Guests Will Enjoy Special Treats This Valentine's Day

On Tuesday (February 13, 2024), British Airways revealed their Valentine’s Day plans, offering guests love-themed desserts, heart chocolates and hours of rom-coms available on their ‘Love is in the air’ inflight entertainment category.  A selection of romantic gifts are also available from the High Life Shop.  Additionally, the carrier has launched a range of city break deals from £142 per person to celebrate cupid’s special day, including popular destinations such as Paris, Copenhagen, Dublin, Turin, Edinburgh, Nice, Prague, Stockholm and Verona.  The offer is available when booking between February 12-19, 2024, for travel in March 2024, and includes return flights plus a two-night stay in one of the airline’s recommended hotels.

All British Airways’ guests traveling on February 14, 2024, from London Heathrow and Gatwick will feel the love with a complimentary heart shaped chocolate upon boarding. First Class customers can enjoy a white chocolate mousse heart with passion fruit and mango, while customers in Club World and Club Europe (Business Class) will be treated to a chocolate and raspberry mousse.  As part of Club Europe’s afternoon tea, guests can enjoy a raspberry macaron with a rosewater and raspberry filling.

As previously mentioned, British Airways has re-launched their popular ‘Love is in the air’ IFE category, allowing customers on long-haul flights to enjoy classic rom-coms such as Marry Me, Along Came Polly, Music and Lyrics and more.  For those not interested in rom-coms, thrillers such as Birds of Prey, Nocturnal Animals, and The Meg have also been added to the inflight entertainment selection for a limited time.  Visitors to the Heathrow Club and First lounges will also be treated to heart-shaped gingerbread, and the lounges will also be adorned with beautiful fresh flower arrangements.

Additionally, an exclusive wine tasting will take place at the Whispering Angel bar in the Club Lounge at T5B from 12:00 on February 14th for rosé lovers who want to celebrate together.  Customers traveling from the U.S. can also enjoy a gin-based ‘Strawberry Aviation’ cocktail at all British Airways’ lounges, including San Francisco, New York and Boston.

Customers traveling on short-haul flights can make their trip a little more special by pre-ordering a champagne and chocolate celebration set from the High Life Café.  A personalized message can also be added by contacting the airline’s customer service team.  Additionally, plenty of last minute Valentine’s gifts are available from the High Life Shop, with selections from Tom Ford’s Café Rose Eau du Parfum to Hot Diamonds’ ‘The Romantic Pendant’, allowing customers to purchase gifts from duty free for a pre-flight or post-flight treat.
