Starting March 31, 2024, BA Euroflyer will launch four weekly flights between London Gatwick and Agadir. British Airways will also return to London Stansted next summer with new weekend flights to Florence, Ibiza and Nice.
On Tuesday (December 12, 2023), British Airways announced that starting March 31, 2024, BA Euroflyer will offer new service between London Gatwick and Agadir, Morocco. The route will operate four times weekly, complementing existing service to Marrakesh. This is the first time Agadir has been available to British Airways’ travelers in over a decade. Guests traveling to Agadir will have a choice of two cabins on every flight, namely Club Europe (business) or Euro Traveller (economy). Euro Traveller guests enjoy a complimentary drink and snack, while Club Europe customers will enjoy lounge access, a full meal service with drinks from the bar, priority boarding and additional baggage alliance. Return flights between London Gatwick and Agadir start at £138.
In Tuesday’s announcement, BA Euroflyer’s CEO, Tom Stoddart, said,
“Agadir is a coastal destination that enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year, so we know it will see strong demand from our leisure customers and particularly those seeking holiday packages. It offers beaches, golf courses and water sports alongside the opportunity to experience cultural landmarks, such as Agadir Kasbah.”
Additionally, British Airways will return to London Stansted for summer 2024. Starting May 18, 2024, the carrier will offer weekend flights to Florence, Ibiza and Nice with an Embraer E190. Flights to Florence are now available for booking from £41 each way, to Ibiza from £36 each way, and to Nice from £43 each way.
