British Airways Holidays and Universal Orlando Resort Partner With ITV’s Saturday Night Takeaway

British Airways Holidays and Universal Orlando Resort have been confirmed as the official holiday prize providers for the 19th season of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, which launched last Saturday on ITV1 and ITVX last Saturday (February 25, 2023).

On Monday (February 27, 2023), British Airways Holidays announced that along with Universal Resort Orlando in Florida, they have been confirmed as the official holiday prize providers for the 19th season of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, which premiered on ITV and ITVX last Saturday, February 25, 2023. As part of the collaboration, over 250 lucky prize winners will win seats on a specially-chartered British Airways flight for a six night stay at Universal Orlando Resort. Additionally, all winners will be part of the most spectacular Saturday Night Takeaway finale live from Universal Orlando Resort. Since places onboard the special charter flight are limited, even presenter Stephen Mulhern had to train as a British Airways cabin crew to join the special flight.


In Monday’s announcement, Ant & Dec Presenter, Stephen Mulhern, said,


“British Airways’ cabin crew go through rigorous training to ensure they deliver exceptional service for passengers. It is fair to say I just didn't quite cut it, but it was great to spend a day with the team and learn more about how they keep customers safe while delivering excellent customer service. I'll just have to beg Ant and Dec for a space!”

Also commenting on the special promotional partnership, British Airways Holidays’ Managing Director, Claire Bentley, said,

Lucky prize winners will secure a seat on an exclusively-chartered British Airways Holidays’ flight and stay six nights at the surf-themed Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites, in a spacious two bedroom suite that sleeps up to six guests. Winners will also receive multi-park tickets to all three Universal Orlando Resort theme parks, including Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay water park. Additionally, winners will be invited to a special event at Universal’s Volcano Bay and tickets to the Finale of Saturday Night Takeaway, live from Universal’s Islands of Adventure on April 8th.
