Boeing Names Uma Amuluru as Human Resources Leader

Boeing has today announced the appointment of Uma Amuluru as the company’s new Chief Human Resources Officer and EVP, Human Resources, succeeding Michael D’Ambrose who is retiring after a career spanning four decades.

On Thursday (February 22, 2024), Boeing announced the appointment of Uma Amuluru as the company’s new Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President, Human Resources effective April 1st, 2024.  Amuluru succeeds Michael D’Ambrose who announced his plans to retire this July after a career spanning four decades.  In her new role, she will be responsible for Boeing’s talent planning, global talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations and more.  Ms. Amuluru will report directly to Boeing’s President and CEO, David Calhoun, and will also serve on the company’s Executive Council.  


In Thursday’s announcement, Boeing’s President & CEO, David Calhoun, said,

Since early 2023, Ms. Amuluru has served as Vice President and General Counsel to Boeing Defense, Space and Security.  She joined Boeing in 2017 and previously served as Boeing’s first Chief Compliance Officer, where she stood up the company’s Global Compliance Organization, and also served on the company’s Executive Council.
