Boeing Business Jets has unveiled ‘BBJ Select’ new cabin options for VIP jets that streamline the design process and accelerate installation and delivery. Designed exclusively for the BBJ 737-7 MAX, customers can pre-select a layout and purchase a new BBJ at a fixed price.
On Monday (October 16, 2023), Boeing Business Jets unveiled their new premium cabin selection for VIP jets called ‘BBJ Select’. Designed exclusively for the BBJ 737-7 MAX, customers will now be able to select pre-designed cabin layouts and purchase a new turnkey BBJ at a fixed price. BBJ Select offers a wide range of pre-designed cabin layouts and configurations, thereby reducing costs while accelerating cabin installation and jet delivery. Boeing Business Jets unveiled their new BBJ Select premium interiors at the National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas.
In Monday’s announcement, BBJ’s President, Joe Benson, said,
“Boeing Business Jets is offering customers a new, streamlined approach to designing a unique, comfortable and functional interior for our BBJ 737-7 jet. For customers who may not have the time or desire to create a fully bespoke interior, BBJ Select offers pre-designed options to outfit their cabin, which allows us to offer the jet at a very attractive, fixed price.”
BBJ Select offers 144 unique modular cabin combinations in three different color palettes, offering options from guest rooms and private offices to family rooms and VIP passenger seating configurations. Customers can select modules for each section of the airplane to cover the spectrum of personal, business and head-of-state requirements.
Designed in collaboration with award-winning jet completion centers, Aloft AeroArchitects and Greenpoint Technologies, BBJ Select eliminates one-time costs for engineering and related work for the installation of a clean sheet cabin design. Simplifying the purchase experience, BBJ Select customers sign one contract with Boeing and the company then oversees the design, build and delivery of the fully outfitted VIP airplane. BBJ Select is exclusively available for the BBJ 737-7, the newest BBJ Max Family member, which offers globe-spanning range, superior cabin space and best-in-class operating economics. The airplane can fly passengers more than 15 hours nonstop while reducing fuel use and emissions compared to previous generation business jets.
