On Wednesday (June 16, 2021), Binter announced the delivery of their fifth Embraer E195-E2, with four other aircraft having been delivered since December 2019. The new aircraft has been named Fuerteventura and will support the carrier’s summer 2021 schedule and the launch of new national and international routes. The Embraer E195-E2 is the quietest, cleanest and most efficient single-aisle aircraft in its class. Binter has configured their aircraft with 132 seats and a comfortable 31 inch pitch. The aircraft also features enough overhead bin space for every guest to store a carry-on bag.

The arrival of the new E195-E2 coincides with Binter’s launch of new international service to Toulouse, Marseille, Lille (France) and Turin and Venice (Italy), as well as national service to Tarragona starting in July 2021. With the new routes, Binter will offer 94 direct weekly connections and 600,000 seats annually between the Canary Islands and domestic and international destinations. As previously announced, the airline has increased service to Mallorca and Vigo with five weekly flights, and service to Zaragoza, Asturias and Santander with four weekly connections. Service to Pamplona and Jerez de la Frontera has also been increased to three weekly flights.

The new and expanded international and national routes will be operated with Binter’s five Embraer E195-E2s. As an added benefit, Binter offers complimentary inter-island connections with 170 daily flights to and from any of the Canary Islands for guests with onward national and international connections.
