beOnd has announced an industry-first ‘Free Flight Guarantee”, which assures guests Business Class rebooking with another carrier in the event of a flight disruption. For other eventualities, the carrier also offers refunds or exchanges.
On Thursday (August 22, 2024), The premium leisure carrier beOnd announced the introduction of their new industry-first ‘Free Flight Guarantee’ policy. Under the assurance, in the rare event of a flight disruption, the airline will rebook customers in Business Class on another carrier, and offers refunds and exchanges for other eventualities. If a rebooking with partner airlines in business isn’t available, beOnd will rebook customers in Economy Class and provide a 100 percent refund on the canceled flight segment. Guests choosing to reschedule their flight/flights will receive a travel voucher for the value of their canceled flight segment(s) plus an additional 20 percent value, which will be valid for one year from issuance.
In Thursday’s announcement, beOnd’s CEO, Tero Taskila, said,
