From November 2, 2023, BA Euroflyer will add service between London Gatwick and Fuerteventura, their fourth Canary Island destination, joining Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.
On Tuesday (June 13, 2023), British Airways announced that BA Euroflyer will launch new service between London Gatwick and Fuerteventura from November 2, 2023. Fuerteventura will become the carrier’s fourth Canary Island destination, joining Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. The route will be operated twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays with a mix of Airbus A320/321s, with a third weekly frequency on Wednesdays to be added from February 28, 2024. Fuerteventura is the second largest Canary Island is known for beautiful beaches, a rugged coastline and stunning natural landscapes. The destination is popular year-round for water sport enthusiasts, who can enjoy activities such as surfing, sailing and windsurfing.
In Tuesday’s announcement, BA Euroflyer’s CEO, Tom Stoddart, said,
“Adding Fuerteventura means we now fly to the four largest Canary Islands, which are great options for families, couples and friends alike. Fuerteventura enjoys warm weather year-round, so it is a great option for those looking for winter sunshine without travelling further afield.”
Return fares between London Gatwick and Fuerteventura are now available for booking from £129. Customers booking a Euro Traveller (Economy) flight-only ticket before June 18th can enjoy a discount of more than 10 percent, with early bird flights available from £114. Travelers can also use Avios to purchase flight-only tickets from £1 + 27,000 Avios. Club Europe (Business Class) fares are also available and include pre-flight lounge access, more personal space, a full meal with drinks from the bar and an additional baggage allowance.

Fuerteventura is BA Euroflyer’s seventh new route introduced this year. The carrier recently announced new summer flights to Montpellier, Corfu, Mykonos and Salzburg, in addition to new winter seasonal services to Sharm El Sheikh and Innsbruck. Based at London Gatwick, BA Euroflyer is a wholly-owned subsidiary of British Airways. Across summer and winter seasonal schedules, the carrier serves 40 popular short-haul leisure destinations.
