Azorra to Acquire 13 Embraer E190s and 36 CF-34-10E6 Engines from JetBlue

Fort Lauderdale-based aircraft Azorra has announced that they will acquire 13 Embraer E190 airframes and 36 CF34-10E6 engines from JetBlue.  Deliveries of the assets started in July and will continue through the second quarter of 2026.

On Thursday (July 31, 2025), Azorra announced the acquisition of 13 Embraer E190 airframes and 36 CF34-10E6 engines from JetBlue.  Deliveries of the assets started in July and will continue through the second quarter of 2026, as JetBlue replaces their E190 fleet with new Airbus A220-300s.  This transaction furthers Azorra’s continued leadership in the Embraer E-Jet market and marks a strategic expansion of their engine leasing capabilities.  The additional CF34-10E6 engines will also enhance Azorra’s ability to offer flexible, near-term engine solutions to their airline customers and industry partners.


In Thursday’s announcement, Azorra’s CEO, John Evans, said,


“We’re excited to once again partner with JetBlue on this transaction, which reinforces our commitment to the Embraer E-Jet family and GE’s CF34-10 engines.  It underscores our confidence in the performance, reliability, long-term value, and continued demand for these assets, while advancing our mission to deliver innovative, value-driven powerplant solutions to customers worldwide.”


Also commenting on the transaction, JetBlue’s VP – Strategic Sourcing & Fleet, Dmitry Kopylov, said,


“We’re pleased to partner with Azorra as we continue our fleet modernization efforts. This agreement enables us to efficiently monetize a portion of our E190 assets.  Azorra has a strong track record in the Embraer space, and we’re glad these aircraft and engines will continue to serve operators around the world.”


Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Azorra is a relationship driven aircraft lessor that provides leasing, financing, fleet transition and asset management solutions to investors, financiers and airline operators worldwide.  Azorra currently owns and manages a fleet of over 143 aircraft and engines, and has a total fleet is 240 assets.  The company currently has commitments to acquire over 225 Airbus A220-100/300s and Embraer E190/E195-E2 jets.  Azorra also has an office in Dublin, Ireland.
