Azerbaijan Airlines has Welcomed a New Airbus A320neo to their Fleet

As part of their long-term fleet modernization strategy, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has welcomed a new Airbus A320neo passenger aircraft to their fleet.

On Friday (September 19, 2025), Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), a part of AZCON Holding, announced the addition of a new Airbus A320neo to their fleet. As part of their long-term fleet modernization strategy, the new aircraft will enhance passenger comfort, increase operational efficiency, and reduce the carrier’s environmental footprint. AZAL’s new A320 is configured with Economy and Business Class cabins and features high-speed inflight internet. Business Class guests and AZAL Miles members with specific tier level status will enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi access.
In Friday’s announcement, AZAL’s President, Samir Rzayev, said,
“Fleet modernization is one of the core directions of our strategy. The Airbus A320neo will not only provide our passengers with greater comfort and service quality but also allow us to operate more sustainably.”
In total, AZAL will add over 30 new aircraft to their fleet by 2032. The carrier will receive another new Airbus A320neo this October.
