Avelo will open their sixth base in Las Vegas from September 2023, with service to five destinations, including existing service to Sonoma/Santa Rosa (California) and new service to Bend/Redmond (Oregon), Brownsville (Texas), Dubuque (Iowa) and Eureka/Arcata (California).
On Thursday (June 22, 2023), Avelo Airlines announced that they will open a new base in Las Vegas (LAS) from September 2023. In addition to existing service between Las Vegas and Sonoma/Santa, Rosa California (STS) which started in September 2021, the carrier will also launch new service from LAS to Bend/Redmond, Oregon (RDM), Brownsville, Texas (BRO), Dubuque, Iowa (DBQ), and Eureka/Arcata, California (ACV). Avelo will initially base one 147-seat Boeing 737-700NG at the new LAS base, and plans on hiring pilots, cabin crew, aircraft maintenance technicians and supervisors to support the base. Introductory one-way fares to/from Las Vegas are now available for booking from $49-$69.
In Thursday’s announcement, Avelo’s Chairman and CEO, Andrew Levy, said,

The carrier currently serves 44 popular destinations across the U.S. from their bases at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) in California, Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in Connecticut, Orlando International Airport (MCO), Wilmington Philadelphia Regional Airport (ILG) in Delaware, and at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina. From September 2023, the carrier will add their sixth base in Las Vegas (LAS).
