Avelo Airlines to Launch New Service from Indianapolis and Cleveland

Avelo Airlines has today announced the addition of both Indianapolis and Cleveland to their route network, with new service from both cities to New Haven, Connecticut and Charlotte / Concord, North Carolina.

On Wednesday (March 18, 2026), Avelo Airlines announced the addition of Indianapolis and Cleveland to their growing route network. The carrier will offer service from Indianapolis (IND) to Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) and Charlotte’s Concord Padgett Regional Airport (USA) will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays starting June 18, 2026. Service from Cleveland (CLE) to Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) and Charlotte’s Concord Padgett Regional Airport (USA) will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays starting June 19, 2026. To celebrate the new network cities and routes, the carrier is offering one-way fares from $39 (T&Cs apply).
In Wednesday’s announcement, Avelo Airlines’ Founder and CEO, Andrew Levy, said,

Avelo Airlines was founded with the simple purpose to ‘Inspire Travel’, while saving customers time and money with nonstop flights and everyday low fares. Since taking flight on April 28, 2021, the carrier has served over 9 million guests on more than 72,000 flights. Avelo operates a fleet of Boeing 737NG airplanes, and in 2028 will become the first U.S. airline to fly Embraer 195-E2s, with an order of up to 100 new aircraft. The carrier currently serves 32 popular destinations across 12 U.S. states and Puerto Rico, including their four bases at Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN), the Philadelphia / Delaware Valley region’s Wilmington Airport (ILG), Central Florida’s Lakeland International Airport (LAL) and Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA).
