Avelo Airlines has today announced an expansion of their network to/from Daytona Beach, Florida with new direct service to Hartford, Connecticut starting November 8, 2024. The route will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays with a Boeing 737NG.
On Wednesday (July 24, 2024), Avelo Airlines announced the launch of new nonstop service between Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) in Florida and Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford, Connecticut. Starting November 8, 2024, the route will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays with a Boeing 737NG. The new route complements Avelo’s existing route between Daytona Beach and Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-Ne Haven Airport (HVN). Flights departing Daytona Beach are now bookable with one-way fears from $83 (T&Cs apply).
In Wednesday’s announcement, Avelo Airlines’ Founder and CEO, Andrew Levy, said,

Also commenting on the new Hartford route, Dayton Beach International Airport’s Director, Karen Feaster, added,
“Flights to New Haven and Hartford aren’t just convenient but help boost our local economy. Avelo flights give our residents and their friends and families more options for easy, convenient air travel close to home, and these flights open the greater Daytona Beach area to more tourists from the northeast. The addition of Hartford and the continued success of the New Haven flights, prove that residents and visitors will use the commercial flight services offered at Daytona Beach International Airport.”
