Starting April 3, 2025, Avelo Airlines will launch new service between Daytona Beach International Airport in Florida and Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport in North Carolina. The route will operate twice weekly with a Boeing 737NG.
On Wednesday (December 4, 2024), Avelo Airlines announced the launch of new service between Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) in Florida and Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA) in North Carolina. Starting April 3, 2025, the route will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays with one-way fares from only $44 (T&Cs apply). Charlotte-Concord Airport is conveniently located just a short drive to/from downtown Charlotte and its suburbs, and offers a refreshingly small and welcoming hometown experience. It serves as a stress-free alternative to the busier Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).
In Wednesday’s announcement, Avelo Airlines’ Founder and CEO, Andrew Levy, said,
“We’re excited to announce an expansion of Avelo’s nonstop service in Daytona Beach with new service to Charlotte. With four nonstop options, we continue to share Avelo’s low fares, travel-friendly convenience and industry-leading reliability to our Volusia County Customers. These new nonstop routes also make exploring the abundance of experiences Daytona Beach has to offer a seamless journey for visitors.”
Also commenting on Avelo’s new route, Daytona Beach International Airport’s Director, Karen Feaster, added,
“Avelo Airlines continues to invest in the Volusia County area, and we couldn’t be happier with today’s announcement of new service to Charlotte/Concord. This new market is yet another option for travelers to get to our beautiful destination through DAB—an airport that’s convenient and stress free.”
With the addition of the new Charlotte Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA) route, Avelo will now offer nonstop service from Daytona Beach (DAB) to four destinations, including Hartford (BDL), Philadelphia/Delaware Valley (ILG), and Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN).
