Avelo Airlines Launches New Service from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

Avelo Airlines has today announced the start of new service to/from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, with nonstop service to New Haven, Connecticut and Charlotte / Concord, North Carolina.

On Friday (June 19, 2026), Avelo Airlines announced the launch of new service at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) with two nonstop routes to New Haven, Conn. (HVN) and Charlotte / Concord, N.C. (USA). Avelo is now the only airline offering direct service between CLE and these two destinations. The carrier will offer twice-weekly service on Fridays and Mondays to and from both destinations, with a Boeing 737NG aircraft. In celebration of the new service, Avelo has introduced an inaugural promo code ‘CLE50’ which will offer travelers buy one, get one 50 percent off on roundtrip base fares between June and December. Travelers can apply the promo code on new itineraries booked on the airline’s website (T&Cs apply).
In Friday’s announcement, Avelo Airlines’ Founder and CEO, Andrew Levy, said,

Also commenting on the new Avelo service, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport’s Assistant Director of Commercial Business and Revenue. Scott C. Carr, A.A.E., said,

Avelo Airlines was founded with the simple purpose to ‘Inspire Travel’, while saving customers time and money with nonstop flights and everyday low fares. Since taking flight on April 28, 2021, the carrier has served over 9.6 million guests on more than 76,000 flights. Avelo operates a fleet of Boeing 737NG airplanes, and in 2028 will become the first U.S. airline to fly Embraer 195-E2s, with an order of up to 100 new aircraft.
