Avelo Airlines Launches New Direct Service Between Orlando and Central Wisconsin Airport

Avelo Airlines will today start exclusive nonstop service between Orlando International Airport and Central Wisconsin Airport/Wausau. The route will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays with a Boeing 737NG.

On Thursday (October 5, 2023), Avelo Airlines announced the launch of new exclusive direst service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Central Wisconsin Airport/Wausau (CWA). Starting today, the route will operate two times per week on Thursdays and Sundays with a Boeing 737-700NG. With the new Wausau route, Avelo now offers 11 nonstop routes to/from the ‘Theme Park Capital of the World’ in Orlando, Florida. One-way fares between Orlando and Wausau are now available for booking from $54 (T&Cs apply).


Located in the heart of Wisconsin in Mosinee, between Stevens Point and Wausau, Central Wisconsin Airport offers travelers a smooth, fast and welcoming hometown airport experience. Central Wisconsin travelers can now avoid long drives to distant airports or expensive connecting flights with Avelo’s exclusive direct CWA-MCO service.
