Austrian Airlines has today announced the launch of ‘Happy Flynachten,’ a 360° a holiday marketing campaign that presents flying as an emotional topic.

On Monday (December 1, 2025), Austrian Airlines announced the launch of ‘Happy Flynachten,’ an integrated 360° marketing campaign centered around a hero video, suitable for digital advertising formats. Like all employees of systemically important companies, there is also a lot to do for the operational colleagues at Austrian Airlines during the Christmas holidays so that guests can take off on their eagerly awaited vacations.
In Monday’s announcement, Austrian Airlines’ Head of Marketing/Brand/Communications, Ingrid Gogl, said,
“With our ‘Happy Flynachten’ campaign, we are showing how intensive and moving our work is for our guests every day, but especially during the Christmas season. Even if the nerves are sometimes tense and the travel stress is great, our colleagues - whether on the ground or in the air - keep a cool head and always have an open ear for the guests. When faced with challenges, everyone goes all out and the famous warm hospitality of Austrian Airlines is particularly well received – and the guests at their own personal Christmas destination.”
Other components of the campaign, which will span the entire month of December, include numerous elements of internal communication, management communication, a special flight to the ‘Santa Claus headquarters’ in Rovaniemi, Finland, St. Nicholas distribution campaigns at Vienna Airport for all guests, and a charity campaign with a radio station for maximum attention to the needs of the poorest in this society.
