Today, the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) and Air Arabia Group revealed the brand Identity of Fly Arna, Armenia’s new national airline, which will be launched by their joint venture company.
On Friday (January 14, 2022), Air Arabia and the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) announced the unveiling of the visual brand identity of Fly Arna, the new Armenian national airline launched by joint venture. The brand name ‘Arna’ was selected via a public competition and is derived from the company’s official name, Armenian National Airlines. The new carrier’s colors are inspired by the Armenian flag and the Fly Arna logo and brand identity was designed to reflect a young, modern and value-driven national airline. The brand’s values are Ambition, Persistence and Innovation. Inspired by the logo and brand ethos, Fly Arna’s new livery is meant to reflect clarity and a forward looking airline on the move, with a stylized letter ‘A’ on the tailfin. The bright outlook in the brand identity will also be reflected in the aircraft interiors, team member uniforms, and across all guest touchpoints.
In today’s announcement, the Armenian National Interests Fund’s CEO, David Papazian, said,
“Fly Arna’s brand identity is truly reflective of the inspiring spirit and ethos of Armenia. This is highlighted by the involvement of the public in deciding the name to the colours used for the brand identity and the values that Fly Arna will promote. Today’s unveil of Fly Arna’s visual identity is an inspiring move that brings us one step closer towards the launch of the airline.”
Also commenting on the brand identity reveal, Air Arabia Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Adel Al Ali, said,
“Fly Arna’s visual identity launch is an important progress in the journey towards the launch of the airline. This step also marks the beginning of a new era in the growth of Armenia’s aviation sector, not only contributing to the country’s economic growth but providing its people with a reliable and value for money experience. We look forward to its rollout in the coming weeks.”
With Zvartnots International Airport (EVN) as the carrier’s base, Fly Arna will follow Air Arabia Group’s successful low-cost business model. The process to acquire an Air Operators Certificate (AOC) for the new Armenian national airline has started and further information about the launch date, fleet and network will be announced in the future. ANIF and Air Arabia Group announced the launch of the new joint venture airline in July 2021, followed by the airline’s name reveal in September 2021.
