American Airlines Unveils Centennial Themed Amenity Kits and Pajamas

In celebration of their 100th anniversary this year, American Airlines has introduced a a collection of limited-edition amenity kits, premium pajamas and refreshed closed-toe slippers, which will debut across premium cabins in April.

On Tuesday (March 25, 2026), American Airlines announced that as they mark their 100th anniversary, they are introducing a collection of limited‑edition onboard products designed to honor a century of innovation, while elevating the travel experience for today’s customers. The new centennial amenity kits, premium pajamas and refreshed closed‑toe slippers will debut across premium cabins at the beginning of April.  The centennial amenity kits feature three designs that pay homage to American’s history and future, with the range including Astrojet, Silverbird and Forward.  Inside each kit, centennial‑branded products reinforce the milestone and make the experience feel truly commemorative.

 

In Tuesday’s announcement, American Airlines’ Chief Customer Officer, Heather Garboden, said,

 

“As we celebrate a century of connecting customers to the world, we wanted this milestone to feel personal the moment someone settles into their seat.  Every detail in these centennial kits and pajamas pays homage to the eras that shaped us — from the bold optimism of Astrojet to the refined glamour of Silverbird and the forward momentum guiding our next century.  They’re our way of saying thank you to the customers who make every journey possible.  Whether they’re traveling for a long‑awaited vacation, a meaningful milestone or an important business trip, we hope these touches bring comfort and reflect how honored we are to welcome them on board.”

The amenity kits for Flagship® First and Flagship Suite® Preferred seats feature an upgraded centennial eye mask and crew socks, a Joanna Vargas cosmetic sheet mask and under eye patches, and a foldable hair comb, along with Colgate 10g toothpaste and a bamboo toothbrush.  Flagship® Business/Flagship Suite® kits include an upgraded centennial eye mask and crew socks, Joanna Vargas cosmetic under eye patches, Colgate 10g toothpaste and bamboo toothbrush.  Premium Economy amenity kits include an upgraded centennial eye mask and centennial tube socks, along with Colgate 5g toothpaste.

In addition to the amenity kits, American is introducing limited‑edition centennial pajamas in April that extend the same three‑era theme.  The pajamas maintain the comfortable silhouette customers love but now feature a refreshed deep‑blue color and subtle logos representing the Astrojet, Silverbird and Forward eras.  American is also updating their inflight slippers this spring to a closed‑toe design based on customer feedback, offering a more comfortable onboard experience.  Customers flying in Flagship® First and Flagship Suite® Preferred seats will enjoy the pajamas and refreshed slippers, which will also be provided in Flagship® Business on American’s ultra‑long‑haul flights to and from the Middle East, Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand.
