On Wednesday (April 17, 2024), American Airlines announced the launch of a reimagined onboard guest experience, with premium enhancements.  Customers will appreciate a new amenity kit series, new bedding, and can savor new dishes throughout their journey.  With the introduction of American’s new Flagship Suite® seats in the future, the experience will become even more refined.  For the amenity kits, American worked with a mix of boutique and popular brands to create a program that will evolve throughout the years, with rotating kit designs and high-quality skincare products

In Wednesday’s announcement, American Airlines’ Vice President of Customer Experience, Kim Cisek, said,

“We thoughtfully curate each element of the onboard experience so every customer can look forward to the time they spend in flight.  Part of the magic of travel is connecting our customers to the people and experiences that matter most to them.  We’re taking that concept to the skies by introducing a new, dynamic onboard program that’s inspired by feedback from our customers and team members.”

American worked with a mix of boutique and well-known brands to create a program that will evolve throughout the years and feature rotating kit designs and high-quality skincare products in addition to the new bedding program.  Starting Memorial Day weekend, the new program will be available in Flagship® First Class, Flagship® Business Class and Premium Economy cabins.  The primary amenity kit will be available yearlong in premium cabins, and will include amenities such as a toothbrush, dental kit, eye mask and earplugs, as well as evolving skincare and other products. American will also cycle new brands and product within the premium cabin amenity kits, creating a unique guest experience several times over.
