American Airlines Announces Ultra-Low Awards for AAdvantage Mileage Redemption

American Airlines has today announced that they are offering over one million Main Cabin seats on domestic flights in the lower 48 states redeemable at just 5,000 AAdvantage miles one-way.

On Thursday (May 15, 2025), American Airlines announced the launch of ultra-low awards for AAdvantage® mileage redemption.  The carrier is offering over one million Main Cabin seats on domestic flights (Alaska and Hawaii excluded) redeemable at only 5,000 miles one-way.  Additionally, Main Cabin seats on transatlantic flights will be redeemable starting as low as 15,000 AAdvantage miles one-way.  Seats are exclusively available for AAdvantage members, and include popular domestic destinations such as Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando and Miami, as well as international destinations such as Cancun, London, Rome and more.
