Allegiant Announces New Direct Routes to Eight Cities, Welcomes Huntsville, Alabama

Allegiant Travel Company has today announced the launch of five new nonstop routes, connecting eight cities nationwide, including new service to Huntsville International Airport in Alabama.

On Tuesday (August 12, 2025), Allegiant Travel Company announced the launch of five new direct routes connecting eight cities. The network expansion includes first-time service to and from Huntsville International Airport (HSV), in Huntsville, Alabama with service to three Florida destinations. Service to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will start on November 19, 2025, while flights to St. Petersburg International Airport (PIE) will commence on March 5, 2026. Flights between Huntsville and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) will start on February 12, 2026. One-way fares to/from all three Florida destinations are now available for booking from $39 (T&Cs apply).
In Tuesday’s announcement, Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer, Drew Wells, said,
“Coming off the heels of an announcement two weeks ago, we are excited to continue our growth trajectory. As a leisure focused airline our unique business model allows us to quickly respond to consumer demand and connect underserved markets to top vacation destinations. This expansion bolsters our service in existing markets and we look forward to introducing our brand of service to a new market.”
Additionally, Allegiant will launch new service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Appleton, Wisconsin starting January 16, 2026, with one-way fares from $69 (T&Cs apply). Finally, the carrier will start new direct service between Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) and Rochester, New York (ROC) on February 13, 2026, with one-way fares from $59 (T&Cs apply).
