Alaska Airlines has announced the launch of new summer seasonal service between Seattle and Reykjavík, Iceland starting May 28, 2026. The carrier has also unveiled a new standard of comfort and care across their Boeing 737 fleet.

On Thursday (September 4, 2025), Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new nonstop summer seasonal service between Seattle (SEA) and Reykjavík, Iceland (KEF). Thanks to an enhanced codeshare agreement with Icelandair, inbound guests to Reykjavík will enjoy seamless onward connectivity with over 35 daily departures from the country’s capital to Europe. The codeshare agreement enables guests to book itineraries that combine flights from both airlines under a single ticket. Additionally, guests traveling in First Class or as Atmos™ Rewards Gold, Platinum or Titanium elites will now enjoy access to Icelandair’s Saga Lounge at Keflavík International Airport. Every Iceland flight includes complimentary Wi-Fi, a special perk just for this route.
In Thursday’s announcement, Alaska Airlines’ VP – Revenue Management and Network Planning, Kirsten Amrine, said,

The carrier’s new custom flatware set features a brass-tone knife, along with a fork and spoon with clean lines and a polished finish. Complementing these are versatile side dishes, a brass-accent bowl for small bites and a sleek tray that ties the setting together.
