Aircargonet to Represent airBaltic’s Cargo Business in Germany

Aircargonet International, a family owned General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA), has today announced that they have secured a tender to represent airBaltic’s cargo business in Germany.

On Tuesday (May 13, 2025), Aircargonet International (Aircargonet) announced that they have successfully secured a tender to represent airBaltic’s cargo business in Germany. Effective immediately, Aircargonet will manage all airfreight related business in Germany as the carrier’s new General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA), including sales, flight planning/operations, managing bookings, and cargo related local marketing, among others. This partnership further strengthens Aircargonet’s position as a leading GSSA and benefits the market presence of airBaltic in Germany.
In Tuesday’s announcement. Aircargonet International’s CEO, Max Lederer, said,

We gained a strong and highly trusted member with airBaltic to whom we are committed to deliver and ensure reliable air freight services in the German market.”
Established in 1995, Air Baltic Corporation SA (airBaltic) is a joint stock company with most of the equity (97.97%) held by the Latvian state and the remaining 2.03% held by other shareholders. Lufthansa Group plans on taking a minority stake in the company by Q2 2025, subject to regulatory approval. One of the most punctual carriers in the world, the airline connects the Baltic region with over 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and seasonally from Gran Canaria to more than 80 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus region.
