Airbus Corporate Jets has successfully delivered the first ever ACJ TwoTwenty to Comlux from the Airbus A220 Final Assembly Line in Mirabel, Canada. The aircraft will join the Comlux facility in Indianapolis for VVIP cabin completion in the coming days.
On Wednesday (January 5, 2022), Airbus announced the successful delivery of the first ever ACJ TwoTwenty to Comlux from the A220 Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Mirabel, Canada. In the coming days, the aircraft will be joining the Comlux facility in Indianapolis, Indiana (US) for the VVIP cabin completion. The aircraft is expected to enter service with its owner, FIVE, in early 2023.
The ACJ TwoTwenty has a range of up to 5,600 nm (10,500 km) over 12 flight hours, with the ability to directly connect city pairs such as London and Los Angeles, Moscow and Jakarta, Tokyo and Dubai or Beijing and Melbourne. Indianapolis, Indiana (US) based Comlux, with its ACJ-approved completion center has been selected as the exclusive partner to outfit the cabins of the first 15 aircraft. The aircraft features 73m2/785 ft2 of floor space over six wide VIP living areas, allowing up to 19 passengers to work, share, dine and relax, and is at a price point of an ULR bizjet. Since being launched in late 2020, the aircraft has already won six orders.
Currently, more than 200 Airbus Corporate Jets are in service on every continent, including Antarctica, as well as over 1,800 Airbus private and business aviation helicopters. Customers include governments (50%), private individuals (25%) and corporate customers (25%).
