airBaltic to Serve Tenerife From Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius and Tampere From October 2023

airBaltic is expanding direct flights to Tenerife beyond Riga with new service from Vilnius, Tallinn and Tampere. The twice-weekly flights will start at the end of October 2023, as part of the carrier’s 11 new routes from the Baltics and Tampere for winter 2023/24.

On Monday (May 15, 2023), airBaltic announced an expansion of service to Tenerife (Spain) beyond Riga with new winter 2023/24 nonstop service from Vilnius (Lithuania), Tallinn (Estonia), and Tampere (Finland). The added routes to Tenerife will operate twice weekly from the end of October 2023. Tenerife is a Spanish Island in the Atlantic and part of the Canary Islands archipelago. The island is known for its warm climate, beautiful beaches and stunning natural landscapes, including the Mount Teide National park. A popular tourist destination, Tenerife offers a wide range of activities such as water sports, hiking and a vibrant nightlife. As home to many resorts and hotels, Tenerife is the ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure.

As previously announced, airBaltic is launching 11 new routes from the Baltics and Tampere in Finland for the upcoming winter season. In total, the carrier will offer service on approximately 80 routes, connecting Riga and other cities in the region. This represents airBaltic’s largest number of new routes in a winter season ever. All new routes are currently bookable on the airline’s website.
