Air Transat has announced the launch of first-ever service between Montréal and Valencia in Spain, with the departure of the inaugural flight, TS276, on Friday, June 20, 2025. The new route complements existing service to Barcelona, Madrid and Malaga.

On Monday (June 23, 2025), Air Transat announced the launch of first-ever service between Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Valencia International Airport (VLC). The inaugural flight (TS276) took to the skies on Friday, June 20, 2025, and the route will now operate nearly year-round. The new Valencia route will be operated with an Airbus A321LR, complementing Air Transat’s existing service to Barcelona, Madrid, and Malaga.
In Monday’s announcement, Transat’s Chief Revenue Officer, Sebastian Ponce, said,
“The Montreal-Valencia non-stop flight further strengthening our leadership not only in Spain, but the transatlantic network. Furthermore, this destination choice perfectly aligns our strategy to diversify revenue and reduce seasonality of our operations. It's a testament to our expertise, and we couldn’t be prouder to see the Air Transat star soaring towards Valencia.”
Also commenting on the new Valencia service, ADM’s VP – Operations and Air Service Development, Karl Brochu, said,
“ADM Montréal-Trudeau is thrilled to welcome this flight to Valencia, operated by our partner Air Transat. This new route will allow all travelers seeking memorable experiences to explore a destination known for its history and culture. Being the first North American airport to offer non-stop service to this attractive Mediterranean city fills us with immense pride. We extend our gratitude to the entire Air Transat team for their relentless efforts in making this a reality.”
