Air Transat Announces Winter 2023/24 Flying Program From Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes

Air Transat has revealed their Winter flying program from Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes. The carrier will serve 30 destinations from Montreal & Quebec City, 20 destinations from Toronto, Ottawa, London and Hamilton, and 10 destinations from Halifax and Moncton.

On Wednesday (May 3, 2023), Air Transat revealed their winter 2023/24 flying program from Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes. From Montreal and Quebec City the carrier will offer over 180 direct weekly flights to more than 30 destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, the U.S. and Europe. At peak season, Air Transat will offer over 300 direct flights from eight Canadian cities, including Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Ottawa, London, Hamilton, Halifax and Moncton. The airline will strengthen their position as the primary Canadian airline serving the Dominican Republic, with two additional weekly peak season flights between Montreal and Punta Cana, and one additional weekly flight from Quebec City to both Punta Cana and Puerto Plata. Air Transat will also expand their offer to Cuba with two additional flights from Montreal to Cayo Croco, three to Holguin, two to Varadero and one to Santa Clara.


In Thursday’s announcement, Air Transat’s Chief Revenue Officer, Michèle Barre, said,


“We are proud to present an ambitious flight program that is even more attractive than our pre-pandemic offer. We are following through on our strategy to expand our service to various French regions with Lyon and Marseille routes now operating throughout the winter, while flights to Nantes will continue until mid-January. The rise in our overall capacity for winter 2023-2024 also includes a major increase in the frequency of flights to South destinations, while enabling us to keep on strengthening our air network to offer our Quebec customers even more flight options.”


In a separate press release on Wednesday (May 3, 2023), Air Transat announced their winter 2023/24 flying program from Ontario, which includes more than 110 direct weekly flights from Toronto, Ottawa, London and Hamilton to over 20 destinations. In addition to expanded service to the Dominican Republic and Cuba, Air Transat continues to develop the Mexico market, with four additional flights from Toronto to Cancún, and two to Puerto Vallarta. Additionally, one more flight will depart from Ottawa and London to Cancún.


Finally, in a third announcement on Wednesday (May 3, 2023), Air Transat revealed details of their winter 2023/24 schedule from the Maritimes. The carrier will offer over 20 direct weekly flights from Halifax and Moncton to 10 destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico and the U.S.
