Air Transat has added Azul Airlines to their connectair by Air Transat virtual interlining platform. Quebec-based customers can now combine select Air Transat and Azul flights to destinations such as São Paulo and Manaus via Fort Lauderdale or Orlando.
On Tuesday (August 15, 2023), Air Transat announced the addition of Azul Airlines to their connectair by Air Transat interlining platform, thereby facilitating travel to Brazil. Travelers from Quebec can now combine select Air Transat and Azul flights to destinations such as São Paulo and Manaus (VCP) in Brazil via Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or Orlando (MCO) in Florida. Customers traveling to Brazil can enjoy stunning beaches, admire the majestic Iguazú Falls, explore the fascinating Amazon Rainforest, or discover the vibrant streets of Rio de Janeiro.
Connections are available through the search tool on airtransat.com and through some flight aggregators. Booking also includes assistance in the event of flight delays or cancellations, to ensure travelers arrive at their destination as soon as possible. With the addition of Azul, connectair by Air Transat now includes 12 airline partners, and expands the number of destinations available in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and the Americas to more than 280.
Azul Linhas Aéreas launched operations in 2008, and currently offers 1,000 daily flights to over 160 destinations. The carrier operates a fleet of over 170 aircraft and employs more than 13,000 team members.
