Air Lease Corporation Delivers Last of 10 Airbus A320-200s to Allegiant
Air Lease Corporation has delivered the 10th of 10 Airbus A320-200s on lease to Allegiant. The aircraft was previously on lease to Alaska Airlines, and ALC has also signed long-term lease agreements with Alaska for 14 Boeing 737-9 MAX airplanes to replace their A320 fleet.
On Thursday (October 20, 202), Air Lease Corporation (ALC) announced the delivery of the last of 10 Airbus A320-200s on lease to Allegiant Travel Company. The latest aircraft was previously leased to Alaska Airlines. Alaska has also signed long-term lease agreements with ALC for 14 Boeing 737-9 MAX airplanes, 11 of which have already been delivered. The remaining MAX aircraft will be delivered through the end of 2022 from ALV’s order book with Boeing.
In Thursday’s announcement, Air Lease Corporation’s Executive Chairman, Steven Udvar-Házy, said,
“ALC is pleased to announce this tenth A320 delivery to Allegiant. These ten young A320s are providing valuable service to Allegiant’s growing fleet with advanced technology and fuel-efficiency.”
