On Thursday (October 20, 202), Air Lease Corporation (ALC) announced the delivery of the last of 10 Airbus A320-200s on lease to Allegiant Travel Company. The latest aircraft was previously leased to Alaska Airlines. Alaska has also signed long-term lease agreements with ALC for 14 Boeing 737-9 MAX airplanes, 11 of which have already been delivered. The remaining MAX aircraft will be delivered through the end of 2022 from ALV’s order book with Boeing.

In Thursday’s announcement, Air Lease Corporation’s Executive Chairman, Steven Udvar-Házy, said,

“ALC is pleased to announce this tenth A320 delivery to Allegiant. These ten young A320s are providing valuable service to Allegiant’s growing fleet with advanced technology and fuel-efficiency.”

Founded in 1999, Las Vegas-based Allegiant is an integrated travel company with an airline at its heart, and a focus on linking passengers from small to medium cities to world-class leisure destinations with all non-stop flights and industry-low average fares. The company offers base airfares that are often half the price of a typical roundtrip ticket and currently operates an all-Airbus A320 Family fleet. Allegiant recently placed an order for up to 100 Boeing 737-7 and 737-8-200 MAX jets.

Based in Los Angeles, California, Air Lease Corporation (NYSE: AL) is a leading global aircraft leasing company. The ALC team is principally involved in the purchase of commercial aircraft and leasing them to airlines worldwide with customized leasing and financing solutions.
