On Thursday (February 3, 2022), Air France announced the resumption of flights between Paris-Orly and New York-JFK, as well as from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Dallas and Denver for summer 2022. Since the reopening of U.S. borders in November 2021, Air France has gradually been increasing capacity, and currently serves 11 U.S destinations including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, Seattle, San Francisco and Washington D.C. For summer 2022, the carrier will offer nearly 200 weekly flights to 14 U.S. destinations, 20 percent more than the pre-pandemic period in summer 2019.

Service between Paris-Orly and New York-JFK will resume on March 27, 2022, complementing existing service from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, for a total of up to seven daily flights between Paris and New York. Air France will also resume service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Dallas/Fort Worth on March 27th, with up to five weekly flights. Finally, starting May 4, 2022, Air France will resume seasonal service between Paris-CDG and Denver for the second year in a row with three weekly flights.

In July 2021, Air France launched ‘Ready to Fly’, a free optional service that allows customers to request and receive confirmation that they have all the health documents required for their trip prior to arrival at the airport. The service is now available on all flights to and from the U.S., as well as on more than 140 routes on departure from 80 airports, representing over 600 daily flights.

With Air France Protect, customers can book travel with confidence. The policy is in effect through February 28, 2022, and offers fully modifiable tickets for travel until June 30, 2022. Customers can change their reservations free of charge (a fare difference may apply) or request a refundable credit voucher if they no longer wish to travel. If the flight is canceled by Air France, customers can postpone their trip, or request a full refund or voucher, which is also refundable if unused.
