From now until the end of June 2024, frequent flyers with status in Denmark can now apply for status match with Flying Blue, Air France and KLM’s loyalty program. This allows customers to upgrade to Flying Blue Silver, Gold or Platinum status.
On Tuesday (May 7, 2024), KLM announced that from now until the end of June 2024, frequent flyers in Denmark with frequent flyer status can apply for Air France and KLM’s Flying Blue status match. The new limited-time offer allows customers to upgrade to Flying Blue Silver Gold or Platinum status, and enjoy exclusive benefits for the next 12 months, including accelerated earning rates, priority check-in and boarding, and free seat selection, among others. Air France and KLM are members of the SkyTeam alliance, which will welcome SAS as a new member on September 1st, 2024.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Air France and KLM’s General Manager – Northern Europe, Tom Verbugt, said,
“We are very pleased to be able to offer Danish frequent flyers the opportunity to join Flying Blue and benefit from this status match valid until the end of June. This is the first status match of its kind, so if you want to try another bonus program, now is the right time and just in time for the summer holidays. From 1 September we also look forward to welcoming SAS to SkyTeam.”
Eligible customers in Denmark can apply by visiting flyingblue.statusmatch.com, paying the applicable fee, and upon approval, will be instantly upgraded. If a customer is not currently a Flying Blue member, they will need to join first, before returning to the website to complete their application.
