Air France Expands Winter 2023/24 Service to North America, Introduces Paris-Raleigh/Durham Route

Air France continues to bolster their North American service for winter 2023/24 with up to 212 weekly flights to 21 destinations. The carrier is also introducing new service between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

On Wednesday (July 12, 2023), Air France announced an expansion of their winter 2023/24 schedule to North America with up to 212 weekly flights to 21 destinations in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. From October 30, 2023, the carrier will also launch new service between Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Raleigh-Durham, North Caroline (RDU). The route will operate three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner equipped with 30 Business Class, 21 Premium Economy and 228 Economy Class seats.

Air France flight AF692 will depart Paris (CDG) at 13:30 and arrives in Raleigh-Durham (RDU) at 16:35, while the return flight, AF693, departs Raleigh-Durham at 18:45 and arrives in Paris at 08:25+1. Raleigh-Durham is Air France’s 14th U.S. destination, joining existing service to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, Newark, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington D.C. The new CDG-RDU route was previously operated by Delta Air Lines, Air France’s transatlantic joint venture partner Delta Air Lines. The transatlantic JV partners include Air France, KLM, Delta and Virgin Atlantic.


In addition of the new route between Paris and Raleigh-Durham, this winter Air France will also increase frequencies from Paris to Dallas-Fort Worth from three in 2022 to five weekly flights. Additionally, the carrier will offer up to 38 weekly flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle to four destinations in Canada, including Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa. The new service between Paris-CDG and Ottawa was introduced on June 27, 2023. The route will operate five times weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Air France flight AF328 departs Paris-CDG at 13:10 and arrives in Ottawa at 15:05, while the return flight, AF327, takes off from Ottawa at 17:15 and arrives in Paris at 06:05+1.

Air France is also adding frequencies to Montreal and Vancouver, with up to 21 and five weekly flights, respectively, compared to 17 and 3 for the winter 2022/23 season. Finally, effective December 2, 2023, Air France will resume winter service between Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe and Montreal. The route will be operated twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays with a Wi-Fi equipped Airbus A320. In addition to Point-à-Pitre, Air France also connects Montreal to destinations in their Caribbean regional network including Fort-de-France (Martinique), Belém (Brazil), Cayenne (French Guiana) and Miami.
