From September 28th through October 10, 2023 Air France will be showcasing their 90-year heritage of elegance with a 12 window display at the famed department store, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann.
On Wednesday (September 27, 2023), Air France announced the opening of a 12 window display at the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann department store, celebrating the airline’s 90-year heritage of elegance. The displays will be available from September 28th through October 10, 2023, as part of Air France’s 90th anniversary celebrations, highlighting nine decades of elegance, technology and innovation onboard. Since the carrier’s creation on October 7, 1933, the company has celebrated French excellence, fine dining, haute couture, and art and architecture, all with with a distinctive ‘je-ne-sais-quoi’ recognizable worldwide.

Bringing to life 90 years of elegance, Air France has unveiled a collection of five iconic dresses created by French designer Xavier Ronze, head of the costume design workshops at the Paris Opera Ballet. The dresses has been inspired by different hallmarks of the airline, such as aircraft and technology, uniforms and fashion, emblematic posters, and fine dining and tableware, as well as design and architecture. The bespoke dresses will also be displayed at Galeries Lafayette, along with a selection of some of Air France’s finest heritage items and the best of the airline’s current offer. Air France has also opened pop-up stores in Galeries Lafayette offering a range of items specially created or reissued for this anniversary, including limited edition models of old and new aircraft, a special 90th anniversary collection, as well as new collaborations with top French brands.
