Air Cargo Community Frankfurt Appoints Frank Bauer as Newest Board Member

Lufthansa Cargo has today announced that that the company’s Chief Operating Officer, Frank Bauer, has been named the newest Board Member of Air Cargo Community Frankfurt e.V.

On Monday (August 18, 2025), Lufthansa Cargo announced the appointment of Frank Bauer, currently serving as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), as a new Board Member of Air Cargo Community Frankfurt e.V. Mr. Bauer brings extensive airfreight industry experience to the association, and has held various leadership positions withing the Lufthansa Group, including roles on the management board of Eurowings, and in the areas of controlling and risk management. Frank Bauer has been part of the Lufthansa Cargo executive team since August 2023, serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), and Labor Director.
In Monday’s announcement, Lufthansa Cargo’s Chief Operating Officer, Frank Bauer, said,
“I am very pleased to be able to actively help shape the future of Air Cargo Community Frankfurt as a new board member. Frankfurt is one of the world’s most important air cargo hubs, and I am convinced that constructive collaboration within the community is a key driver for success and growth. It is particularly important to me to further advance FRA together through digitalization and innovation. I look forward to constructive dialogue with the members and the ACCF board.”
Air Cargo Community Frankfurt brings together over 100 companies along the air freight value chain at Frankfurt Airport, Europe’s leading cargo hub, with the goal of driving process and site development.
