Air Canada to Launch New Service to San Antonio and Cleveland and Columbus for Summer 2026

Air Canada has today announced the launch of new service between Toronto and San Antonio, and between Montréal and both Cleveland and Columbus for Summer 2026.

On Monday (September 22, 2025), Air Canada announced the launch of select new transborder routes for summer 2026, including service between Toronto and San Antonio, Texas, and between Montréal to both Cleveland and Columbus in Ohio. In total, the carrier will boost transborder capacity by 15 percent in summer 2026 compared to the previous summer. The planned 2026 increase is aimed at increasing choices for travelers connecting between Air Canada’s international network and these markets.
In Monday’s announcement, Air Canada’s EVP and Chief Commercial Officer, Mark Galardo, said,
“Air Canada is launching services to San Antonio and linking Columbus and Cleveland to Montreal to support travel between these destinations and points across our global network. We are also boosting capacity on other markets to provide additional travel options for customers on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Air Canada Cargo offers air freight lift and connectivity to hundreds of destinations across six continents with a dedicated fleet of 767-300 Freighters and passenger aircraft belly hold capacity. Additionally, the airline has committed to a net zero emissions goal from all global operations by 2050.
