Air Canada has today announced a new partnership with Chexy, whereby Aeroplan loyalty program members can turn routine payments for essential services such as rent, bills and taxes into exciting rewards.

On Tuesday (April 15, 2025), Air Canada announced that their Aeroplan loyalty program has partnered with Chexy, an innovative Canadian fintech platform, to allow members to turn payments for essential services such as rent, bills and taxes into exciting rewards. Chexy enables members to use their credit card for large, routine payments typically made via electronic bill payment or debit card, helping them get more out of expenses that typically go unrewarded. Chexy now joins Aeroplan’s growing list of world-class retail partners, including Starbucks, Uber, LCBO, and over 1,2000 participating Parkland fuel and convenience stores across Canada.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Air Canada’s VP – Loyalty & Product, Scott O’Leary, said,
“We know our members are looking for more ways to boost their points on everyday spending. Our partnership with Chexy helps us unlock new, high-impact earning categories, helping our members get closer to their next trip — faster.”
Also commenting on the new loyalty partnership, Chexy’s Co-Founder and CEO, Lizaveta Akhvledziani Carew, added,
“Our partnership with Aeroplan marks a game-changing moment for Canadian consumers to unlock value from the largest payments they make. At a time when the cost of living is top of mind, this partnership brings a more rewarding way to earn—potentially doubling or even tripling rewards each year. It’s a major step toward reshaping the future of payments and loyalty, where consumers come first.”
Starting today, Aeroplan members across Canada can earn Aeroplan points through Chexy, with Aeroplan credit cardholders earning even more points. Additionally, members can take advantage of a limited-time bonus offer up to 10,000 bonus points with Chexy. To learn more about Aeroplan’s new partnership with Chexy, please click here.
