Air Canada Rouge, Air Canada’s leisure airline has resumed service today with flights from Toronto to Las Vegas, Orlando and Regina. The carrier has also introduced new uniforms, updated cabins and enhanced streaming entertainment options.
On Tuesday (September 7, 2021), Air Canada announced the relaunch of Air Canada Rouge, the airline’s leisure carrier. Today, Air Canada Rouge operated flights from Toronto to Las Vegas, Orlando and Regina, with service to other destinations such as Cancun and Tampa to resume later this month. With the carrier’s relaunch, Air Canada Rouge has introduced new uniforms and enhanced streaming entertainment. Later this fall, the airline will also debut updated cabin interiors on nine of their 39 Airbus A321s, featuring playful Rouge accents, new leather Economy Class and Premium Rouge seating, upgraded power options with USB-C ports, and a convenient seatback personal device holder.
In today’s announcement, Air Canada Rouge’s President of Operations and VP Inflight Services, Jon Turner, said,
“Air Canada Rouge remains integral to Air Canada's overall strategy. As we emerge from the pandemic, we anticipate increased demand for vacation travel and from customers flying to enjoy overdue visits with family and friends. Air Canada's leisure airline is ideally suited to serve this market with a compelling array of leisure destinations and an inviting travel experience so that the holidays begin as soon as customers board an Air Canada Rouge aircraft.”

With Air Canada Rouge’s upgraded streaming entertainment, guests will no longer need to use an app to stream content. Instead, they can stream hours of complimentary television and movies directly to their personal devices via their web browser, or with complimentary use of a sanitized iPad in Premium Rouge. High-speed Wi-Fi is also available for purchase along with a choice of Premium Rouge and Economy services. Premium Rouge guests will be offered a complimentary bar and beverage service, along with a complimentary meal on flights over two hours or a snack on shorter flights.
