Air Canada Launches Inaugural Flight Between Montréal and Edinburgh, Scotland

Air Canada has announced the launch of their inaugural flight between Montréal and Edinburgh, which departed on Thursday evening, June 26, 2025.

On Friday (June 27, 2025), Air Canada announced the departure of their inaugural flight from Montréal to Edinburgh, which took to the skies last night and has now arrived in Edinburgh.  The route will be operated with a Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft.  Air Canada’s new Montreal to Edinburgh service is the carrier’s latest new European route launched this summer.  Earlier this month, the airline inaugurated their Montreal to Porto and Toronto to Prague routes, celebrated the launch of  Naples service in May, and marked the return of the Ottawa to London Heathrow route in April.

 

In Friday’s announcement, Air Canada’s EVP and Chief Commercial Officer and President, Cargo, Mark Galardo, said,
