Air Canada Inaugurates New Service Between Toronto and Prague

Air Canada has today announced the launch of new service between Toronto and Prague, with the inaugural flight departing Toronto on Friday evening, June 6, 2025.  The route will now operate three times weekly with departures on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

On Saturday (June 7, 2025), Air Canada announced the start of new direct service between Toronto (YYZ) and Prague (PRG) in the Czech Republic.  The seasonal route will now operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays until September 28, 2025.  Prague flights will be operated with an Airbus A330-300 featuring Air Canada Signature Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class booking options.  Signature Class offers guests an elevated travel experience with spacious lie-flat seating, personalized service, fine cuisine, extra baggage allowance and access to priority airport services.

 

In Saturday’s announcement, Air Canada’s EVP & Chief Commercial Officer, and President of Cargo, Mark Galardo, said,


“We are excited to return to Prague, our newest Europe destination now added to our global network.  Our flights connect two countries, facilitating travel, tourism and trade.  We design routes like this one to appeal to our customers throughout our North American network, with convenient travel options at our Toronto hub.  Whether people are visiting family and friends in Prague, exploring its celebrated architecture, bohemian history and rich culture, or customers from Central Europe visiting and exploring Canada from coast to coast, our flights make discovering all that our two countries offer easier than ever.”

Prague is just Air Canada’s latest new European route launched this summer, and joins Montreal-Porto service launched earlier this week, service to Naples in May, and the return of flights between Ottawa and London Heathrow in April.  Additionally, the carrier will inaugurate new service between Montreal and Edinburgh at the end of June.
