Air Canada has today announced an expansion of their service to India for the winter 2024/25 season. From October 27th, the carrier will launch exclusive direct service between Toronto and Mumbai, and will add new daily service between Calgary and Delhi via London.
On Monday (June 3, 2024), Air Canada announced that for winter 2024/25 they will expand connectivity between Canada and India. Starting October 27, 2024, they will launch new exclusive nonstop service between Toronto and Mumbai with four weekly flights. On the same date, the carrier will launch new daily seasonal service between Calgary and Delhi via London Heathrow. Additionally, customers traveling between Vancouver and London can also connect seamlessly to Delhi via London Heathrow. For the upcoming winter season, Air Canada will also increase service between Montreal and Delhi by 44 percent with daily flights. In total, the airline will operate 25 weekly flights between Canada and India for winter 2024/25.
In Monday’s announcement, Air Canada’s EVP – Revenue and Network Planning, Mark Galardo, said,

We are thrilled to expand our network to Mumbai and Delhi by building additional scale at our hubs in time for Diwali festivities this fall. With new non-stop flights from Toronto to Mumbai, the addition of new flights to Delhi from Western Canada via London Heathrow, together with the unparalleled connectivity from our robust North American network, we are solidifying Air Canada as the leading airline offering the most travel options between Canada and India. We look forward to welcoming our customers onboard.”
Air Canada’s new Toronto-Mumbai route will be operated with a Boeing 777-200LR featuring Signature Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins. Service between Calgary and Delhi via London Heathrow will be operated with a three-class Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
