Air Belgium to Launch Direct Service to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic From December 15, 2021

Air Belgium is launching twice-weekly service on Wednesdays and Saturdays between Brussels Airport (Zaventem) and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic starting December 15, 2021.

On Monday (December 13, 2021), Air Belgium announced the launch of new direct service between Brussels Airport (Zaventem) and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic from December 15, 2021. The carrier will offer two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays and the route will be serviced with a widebody aircraft configured with Economy, Premium and Business Class cabins. Air Belgium’s guests will also be able to fly to Curacao on the same days after a brief stopover in Punta Cana.


Air Belgium proudly displays the Belgian flag on their aircraft and aims to showcase Belgian know-how as reflected in catering with typical Belgian dishes, hospitality, multilingual crews and in all services on the ground and inflight. The carrier continues to develop their business with the immediate arrival of a second Airbus A330neo. The latest generation aircraft is one of the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly models available and offers an enhanced guest experience with a quiet and spacious cabin, as well as well as a state-of-the art inflight entertainment (IFE) system.

Air Belgium’s main operational base is located at Brussels Charleroi Airport and the carrier also operates from other airports in Belgium and Europe. Air Belgium currently operates an all-Airbus widebody fleet including A330-300, A330neo and A340-300 aircraft, the latter of which will gradually be replaced by A330neos.
