Air Arabia Abu Dhabi to Start New Service Between Abu Dhabi and Istanbul From April 29, 2022

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi will launch new twice weekly service on Fridays and Sundays from Abu Dhabi to Istanbul starting April 29, 2022. The new service marks the carrier’s 17th route since launching service from Abu Dhabi International Airport in July 2020.

On Thursday (March 24, 2022), Air Arabia Abu Dhabi announced the launch of new service Between Abu Dhabi International Airport and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport in Istanbul, Turkey from April 29, 2022. The carrier will offer two weekly flights on Fridays and Sundays and the route will be operated with an Airbus A320. With new service to Istanbul, Air Arabia has introduced 17 routes since the carrier’s launch in July 2020.


In Thursday’s announcment, Air Arabia Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Adel Al Ali, said,


“We are glad to add Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey, to our growing tourist hotspots with direct flights from Abu Dhabi. The new Abu Dhabi to Istanbul service offers our customers a unique opportunity to discover the historic city which straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosporus straits, the new route reflects our commitment to continuously offer our customers affordable and value driven air travel from our different hubs.”
