Aeromexico to Begin New Service Between Mexico City and the New Tulum International Airport

From December 1st, 2023, Aeromexico will launch new service between Mexico City’s International Airport and the new Tulum International Airport, offering enhanced connectivity to the state of Quintana Roo.

On Thursday (August 24, 2023), Aeromexico announced the launch of new service between Mexico City’s International Airport and the new Tulum International Airport, when the airport opens on December 1st, 2023. The new route will enhance connectivity with the state of Quintana Roo, especially with the southern Riviera Maya, and provide an additional alternative for domestic and international travelers from destinations such as Tijuana, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, Toronto, San Francisco, and Chicago, among others. The route will be operated with an Embraer E190 aircraft, starting with 14 weekly frequencies.


In Thursday’s announcement, Aeromexico’s Vice President of Sales – Mexico, Jose Zapata, said,


“As Mexico's global airline, we are very pleased to participate in the inauguration of this airport because, in addition to the fact that it will be a great airport facility, many of our customers have Tulum and the southern Riviera Maya as their final destination, which are international benchmarks for the wealth of tourism that our country offers.”
