Aeromexico Launches New Service Between Mexico City and Puerto Escondido

The airline will offer daily service between Mexico City and Puerto Escondido from January 29, 2021, bringing their total weekly flights to the State of Oaxaca to over 65. Escondido is the third destination to the state along with Huatulco and Oaxaca.

On Monday (December 21, 2020), Aeromexico announced the launch of daily service between Mexico City and Puerto Escondido starting January 29, 2021. The carrier will offer over 65 weekly flights to the State of Oaxaca including service to Huatulco, Oaxaca and now Puerto Escondido. Puerto Escondido offers seven spectacular beaches, including the world-famous Zicatela, considered the third best surfing destination in the world. Visitors to Puerto Escondido will enjoy diving or snorkeling on the coral reefs, sport fishing and a vibrant nightlife.


In Monday’s announcement, Aeromexico’s Senior Vice President Global Sales, Giancarlo Mulinelli, said,


“Puerto Escondido is one of the most important tourist destinations in the state of Oaxaca, where we have been operating for more than 75 years. This new route will allow us to provide extensive connectivity and service options to this internationally recognized destination”
